VISTA Monthly Monday Mountain Bike Rides
Fancy a morning of off-road riding in the Surrey Hills with John and the team?
Ability level: Beginners | Intermediate | Advanced
In conjunction with The Riders Hub in Peaslake Village where you can hire a full suspension Specialized MTB or eMTB. The access to electric MTBs means these rides are suitable for all abilities and great for people looking to experience off-road riding right through to those more experienced riders.
These rides will be around 2 hours in duration and the distance will be dictated by the speed of the group and the amount of climbing we do, which will also be be dictated by the ability of the group. We will be able to take a maximum of 10 riders for these rides.
All of the routes will have variable ascents and descents but nothing too challenging, we can promise great views and we will endeavour to find a good coffee stop somewhere en route to give everyone a break.
We will be meeting at the The Riders Hub opposite the Hurtwood Inn but suggest parking at Walking Bottom car park a few hundred metres away.

VISTA Gravel Bike Ride
Do you have a Gravel Bike?
Fancy a morning riding in the Surrey Hills on and off road with John and the team?
Ability level: Beginners | Intermediate | Advanced
These rides will be 3 to 4 hours in duration and the distance will be dictated by the speed of the group and the amount of climbing we do, which will also be be dictated by the ability of the group. We will be able to take a maximum of 10 riders and we ask that you have a suitable gravel bike (e-bikes are welcomed), helmet, clip-in shoes and be of a fitness level that you know you are comfortable for 2.5+ hours in the saddle at a reasonable average speed.
All of the routes will have variable ascents and descents but nothing too challenging, we can promise great views and we will endeavour to find a good coffee stop somewhere en route to give everyone a break.
We will be meeting at the the Surrey Trek & Run shop in Shere. There is a main car park in the village, which at 9am should be easy to park in and it is only 1-2 mins from the shop. You will need any spares, suitable clothing, a road worthy bike, clip-in shoes and some food and drink just in case we don’t find a coffee stop. Helmets are compulsory, no helmet no ride!

VISTA Monday Structured Run Sessions
Fancy improving your running technique or learning how to structure your running sessions?
Ability level: Beginners | Intermediate | Advanced
Venue: Sir Mo Farah Athletics Track, Waldegrave Rd, Strawberry Hill, TwickenhamTW1 4SX
These sessions are suited for runners of all abilities. Whether you are new to running and wanting to improve your form and technique or you are a seasoned runner and are looking for more speed in your legs.
Don’t let the athletics track scare you! Running on a track is great for coaching and training because it removes a number of variables and allows both the coach and runner to monitor and measure progress.
Most importantly of all these sessions are FUN and the running track creates a safe space that means you don’t have to worry about roads and junctions but also provides that little bit of cushioning that tarmac does not.
Come give it a go, meet fellow runners and we promise you’ll enjoy it!
Cost: £6.00 per session

Surrey Trek & Run Short Hike
In partnership with our friends at Surrey Trek & Run we are excited to be able to promote their fortnightly hikes around the stunning Surrey Hills.
These shorter walks will be roughly 3 to 3.5 hours duration and the distance will be dictated by the speed of the group. Initially they will be taking bookings for groups of up to 12 people but can increase these numbers if the need arises adding additional guides where required.
All of the routes will have variable ascents and descents but nothing too challenging but all of the routes will have great views.
We will be meeting in various locations within reasonable distance of Shere and all you need to do is bring a sturdy pair of walking boots/shoes, something to drink/eat, good lightweight breathable clothing and a waterproof jacket if the weather is changeable.
This will also be a great opportunty to learn how to use walking poles which we will be more than happy to lend to you if you’d like to use them.
